Pet care experience
I’ve had many pets growing up, and I was always the one my family relied on to take care of them. I had many stray cats that were rescued and raised, and a couple of very active dogs as well. I have become the go-to dog and cat sitter for friends and family. I have been regularly dog sitting and walking for many different families here in the Bay Area for over a year now, so I can provide many references. I love to be outside! I’m very active so I’m the perfect person to have around when dogs need exercise and fresh air. I have experience giving medication, caring for senior dogs, and also caring for puppies.

Sarah did a wonderful job caring for our dog and taking care of our house while we were away! While it’s hard to be away from your family pet we felt great leaving our dog with Sarah to care for and spend time with. If the animal has any special medications or any kind of special care that needs to be given, I’d love to know ahead of time. It’s also great to know if the pet may be reactive towards other dogs/humans. Lastly, I would like to know of anything that may cause stress or anxiety so that I can help with reducing or avoiding the cause.
A typical day
I love going on walks or hikes, especially when it’s an active dog. I also love going to dog parks or coffee shops where dogs are allowed if the owner is okay with it. If we’re not out walking and getting exercise, playing inside with the pets and making them feel comfortable while I am around is very important to me. If the owners have a schedule/routine that needs to be followed, that is no problem at all!
