Pet care experience
I love being around dogs! I've had them for most of my life, and I'm happiest when I have a furry companion by my side. I love playing with them and teaching them new things. During their time at my home, your dogs will enjoy playtime in our large backyard, with my kids and myself. I teach obedience, and I trained my husky mix as a service dog. Any visits to your home will include my kids. My kids have been trained in appropriate behavior with dogs, and they are older kids. But we are homeschooling, so every animal we care for is one more school session! **Overnight dogs must be crate trained. For safety, when I have guests, I only feed dogs when they are in their own crates safely.**

Sarah and her family our great! They treated our dog like one of their own. Also, she was very kind to accommodate our dog for one extra night when our flight got changed. Very nice family!
Sarah, is a gift. She loves your pets and takes such great care of them. I feel such a tremendous relief when I know that she walks them because I count on her and it gives the pups a break in a long day. If you are lucky and get to meet her sons, that is a bonus! She is a good Mom and you can tell that she is just as thoughtful for your pets.
Riley stayed with Sarah and family for a week and was included as part of their family. Really appreciate how aware they are of Riley's high energy. Taking her on multiple bike rides, hikes, and ball plays. Riley absolutely adores Sarah and her family.

I have a 1/3 acre fenced in yard. I also have a large garden, which is separately fenced to try to keep the animals out of my tomatoes. Animals are fed in their crates, for everyone's safety. They are welcome on our couch.

I have two older kids, so I am only able to accept dogs that will be friendly towards my children. What rules are present in your household for your dog? What cues/commands do you use with them? Is your dog on special food or treats?
A typical day
We have a large backyard, and my two boys and I are so excited to play with your dogs there! Your dog will be provided plenty of water, an air conditioned house, and cool floors to lie on along with plenty of cuddles and playtime from my family. Finally, your dog will be exposed to my children and dogs.

Availability
My kids and I are home full-time. We can play outside and cuddle on the couch with your animals. During mealtimes, I always separate the animals for everyone's safety. Each dog will go into his or her crate to eat, and afterwards can come back out.
