Life-long experience, literally!
Pet care experience
I've cared for all kinds of animals (big, small, domestic, exotic, etc) for all of my life. I currently own 6 cats, 1 dog, and a horse. 🥰 I have extensive experience in basic and intermediate veterinary care after volunteering my summers to working in hospitals like North Star, spending almost 2 years as a veterinary assistant / kennel manager at Southern Oaks and Central Animal Hospital, and volunteering and working at a local Blind Cat Sanctuary. I have many personal and professional references from people I have worked for, and coworkers I have worked with. 😊 I'm happy to help with young pets in basic commands or reinforcing behaviors you are currently teaching, so they don't miss out while you're away. I also have no problem caring for elderly pets and assisting them with their day-to-day activities or giving medications (oral, topical, or injectable). I have experience with farm animals and exotics as well. I can care for goats, pigs, horses, reptiles, birds, any pretty much anything you can think of.
Reviews
Sarah is always awesome with my Cat and so helpful!
Sarah is the best!!! Our cat loves her and she’s helped us many times
Sarah is the best! She has watched our cat and dog multiple times and is great with them. They love her!!
Sarah is so great with our dog and cat! She gave great updates and took many pictures and videos that I appreciated while I was away from them. This is my second time using Sarah as our rover and will definitely reach out to her again when we need someone to care for our fur babies.

I ask a lot of questions and it's my goal to provide the same exact care as you do for your pets. It'll almost be as if you were never gone! I'm extremely detailed orientated and I simply love what I do. If you would like me to do anything extra, or have any questions, please let me know! I can do additional services like baths, nail trims, anal glad expression, or road trips to trails or the dog park upon request. I'm happy to also fetch the mail and do house cleaning/chores while you're away as well like laundry, dishes, dusting, etc. Just ask :) These services do not cost extra, unless there are extenuating circumstances. Rover takes 20% of the total bill, so tips are greatly appreciated and encouraged. As of July 2021, I have raised my fees because of this. All services have an extra 20% added on. I am happy to charge less outside of Rover (Paypal, Zelle, Cash, Check, etc) for repeating clients. I simply cannot afford to lose 1/5th of what I ask for my services. I do apologize for this.
Information Sarah B. would like to know about your pet
Safety is a HUGE priority for me. I would like to know of any behavioral/medical concerns your pet may have, that I would need to watch out for. For example: food/resource/animal/fear aggression, hyperactivity/destructive tendencies and needing to be kenneled, allergies, seizures, or anything else. I am not partial or discriminate to those with issues. I just simply need to know what I'm working with to provide the best care possible for each individual pet.
A typical day
With owners permission, I would love to take dogs to new places for walks, but at-home I strive to please them both physically and mentally. We can practice tricks (if they know any) or I may even try to teach them something new. I'm a huge supporter in positive reinforcement training for dogs, cats, and horses.

Availability
I work part-time at two different barns and I am the sole source of transportation for my significant other to/from work (Su, M, W, Th, Fri). The rest of my time is completely free to help people care for their pets while they are away.
