Hi, I have and continue to work with dogs in my professional life for 8 years now. I am a former Salon Leader and specialized in large breed, seniors, special needs, and aggression behaviors. I still work in the pet industry but in a different management position. I have been on rover and working with clients outside of rover for over 3 years and before rover for 2 years as well. I’m also on Instagram @sarahbaldnerwheeler As a child I had family dogs ranging from a Miniature Schnauzer to Labrador Retriever and I became a animal professional because I enjoy everything about dogs. I now have a large/giant breed , medium size, and a smaller sized kiddo. Your pet is my priority and I understand the vulnerability of letting someone into your lives and the anxiety of making sure everything is done properly. Your pet deserves the fun, attention, play time, and love. You also deserve the right to feel that their safety and your home is taken care of as well. Special needs that I commonly deal with are: deafness, blindness, epilepsy, heart worm treatment, aggression towards dogs and human fear aggression, anxiety in moderate to severe forms, cancer, and surgery recovery. I am comfortable with all levels of care and realize that every pet is different and requires a special relationship. The reason I started is because I was having issues with finding help myself and could not find the right touch needed for my pups. If you have any questions just ask away.

Sarah is absolutely wonderful. I cannot say it enough to her. She took on the incredible role of being in charge of 4 fur babies while I was away for the weekend. They adored her and I was very relaxed knowing they were in good hands. She sent photos over the weekend and it just confirmed more how at ease they were with her around. She was so flexible and understanding when the plans changed. I'm looking forward to working with her again soon

I believe all dogs are special and have their own personalities so let me know what your dog likes, loves, and doesn't like or love. If you would like special accommodations made for health reasons or just because I will do so. I also do require that I see a version of the dogs shot records. I want to know they are current so no one picks up a cold from going on a walk. I don't have breed preferences. I have worked with a less than 1lbs Yorkie puppy to a 200lbs Great Dane. The are all different and I appreciate that about everyone. I love everyone and I am going to let them cuddle and play just like any other dog. Basically every dog deserves to have that freedom and fun they all desire. I'll do my best to provide that.
A typical day
The care provided includes walks/jogs on a daily route in the morning or on their own romping ground. Time for some delicious treats and play time inside and outside. Hanging out on the dog bed watching national geographic animals. That's just a day of fun. If you are comfortable with it we can go to the dog park or go on a nice long walk, but that is up to the individual client. Staying with me is comfortable and they'll always find out where their treats are on the shelf. I like to cuddle, play, go for walks, and have treat time. If your pup needs any special accommodations as far as health care, age, or just because I can comply. I've been doing puppy sitting for a long time and even though you are out of town know your pup is on a vacation too. I recommend a home visit or a meeting out at a park before you head out of town, just so I can get acquainted with your pup and find out all the little details about your pups daily life at home so I don't miss a beat.
