I previously worked for a dog boarding/daycare business where I learned a lot about taking care of dogs and their individual personalities. I also have a lot of experience with working with cats and their individual personalities as well. As a pet parent myself I know how important it is to have someone care for my pets that I can trust, who is responsible and who is reliable and that is why I pride myself on having those qualities when it comes to being a Rover sitter.

I always keep dogs on leash unless there is a fenced back yard. I always make sure doors and gates are securely closed to ensure your pet does not get loose. I only give food/treats provided by you unless I know your pet has no allergies/restrictions to avoid any allergy or dietary issues. I also make sure to keep the pets area clean such as washing food and water bowls/cleaning the area around litter boxes.

A typical day
If your pet is playful we will play with toys/play outside if nice out. If your pet is more on the shy or more relaxed side I will go off their lead and just provide cuddles/pets if they would like. I let your pet let me know what they want to do. I'm also happy to help with anything else needed such as bringing in packages/mail and watering plants if you are gone a while and worried about these things.

Availability
I have a really flexible schedule as I'm currently a full-time student taking online classes. I am available 7 days a week and pretty much anytime between 7am-8pm. I do occasionally have to have my toddler with me during my drop-ins depending on my husbands schedule. He loves dogs and cats and does very well with them.
