Can’t wait to play with your pup!
Pet care experience
I am a lifelong dog lover, and default pet sitter for friends and family. I have even been called the Dog whisperer, as some dogs that are hesitant with other humans seem to warm right up to me. I think pets are happiest and least stressed in their own home, so home sitting is my preferred service. If home sitting isn't a good fit, my apartment in Glenwood Park is quiet and light-filled, and my neighborhood is exceptionally dog friendly for our long walks. I'm also just off 20 so pick-up/drop-off will be a breeze! Since I don't currently have a canine companion, every dog that I care for is treated as if they are mine. If your dogs have a routine, I'll do everything I can to stick with it. They'll get walks, dog park visits, and all the fetches and belly rubs they can handle. I work from home, so as long as I have an internet connection available, I can be with them almost 24/7 while they are in my care. Please get in touch with me with any questions; the distance guidelines listed are negotiable. I work from home with flexible hours; their schedule is my schedule! I love a nice long walk, and some play time In the morning, a lunchtime block walk, and then a nice leisurely afternoon adventure. What works for your pup works for me, and I have a flexible schedule at my WFH job. I live in an exceptionally dog-friendly community right along the belt line. Whether I'm caring for your pup in your home or mine, their safety and comfort are my first priorities.
Reviews
Sarah was amazing and kept us updated the entire time with Ellie!
Sarah was a wonderful in-home sitter for our anxious dog. She was responsible, very responsive, and left our home in great condition. We could tell she really took great care of our dog and she made us feel very comfortable leaving her with her.
Sarah did a great job dog sitting for my large, active rescue dog!
Sarah was a great sitter for Cooper and Willow! She stayed in touch with us, followed our doggie schedule and was overall a joy! We will definitely book her again to watch over our fur babies :)

I typically puppy-proof my home for all new canine guests. I'll follow your instructions, but I will also keep an extra eye on the pup since behaviors can be different with new people or outside of their familiar surroundings.

Information Sarah B. would like to know about your pet
When we meet I’ll ask for information about their general routine and eating habits. I’ll also ask if they have any relevant handling preferences, such as do they love having their chin scratched and hate having their paws touched? I’ll ask about any leash/dog reactive behaviors. Do they hate the mailman specifically, or bark at most people who walk up the the door/by the yard? How do they deal with thunder or fireworks? And of course how much information do you want while you’re away? I think the more I know the better care I can provide.
A typical day
I’m new to the area and I find exploring the city with a pup by my side the best way to explore. Whether that is long walks on the belt line, quiet neighborhood strolls, or play-time, enrichment activities and belly rubs your pup will get lots of love and attention.
