My name is Sarah and I love four-legged friends! I am currently working from home and have the ability to accept new fur families for dog sitting and walking business because my schedule is so flexible! I live across the street from two beautiful parks, Cook and Garland and very close to the Cherry Creek Trail. I've been sitting dogs and puppies-big and small alike-for over five years and love the joy that comes from snuggling up with a pup after a long day of playing in the park and running around outside. I have a MAJOR soft spot in my heart for Golden Retrievers and shelter pups! I look forward to treating your fur baby like family and spoiling them with LOTS of pets and walks! I lead a pretty active lifestyle and would love to go on hikes with your dog, but I'm just as happy to curl up with a book and give your pup some pets if they're more of a couch potato. Sarah is phenomenal. I have a tiny, spoiled, 2 year old Yorkie who requires things to be a certain way. Sarah took great care of her for 4 days. I went out of town and I received pictures all weekend of my girl. Sarah took her hiking all weekend and was constantly outside with her. She was watching another dog at the same time and she made sure they got along well before taking them out of the home together. She is great. She stayed on my feeding schedule and gave her lots of love. I would highly encourage everyone to use Sarah as their future dog sitter.
I can happily recommend Sarah and give her a 5 star review! My golden retriever loves her and is always excited when he gets to spend time with her whether is just for the day or for a sleep over. She is very accommodating with my sometimes unpredictable schedule. She sends pics of her adventures with my dog - fetch in the park, hikes in the mountains, relaxing in the shade. I'm so fortunate to have met Sarah!
Sarah has been excellent with both of my dogs. She will pick them up while I am at work and take them to the park every day. She does so well with the pups that I sometimes pawn my girlfriends five year old demon on her as well. She is my first pick as a dog sitter and I highly recommend her for Rover.

I would love to know if dogs have had traumatic experiences in the past and are afraid of certain people/things i.e. tall men wearing hats, approaching them too quickly, etc. I would also like to know if they are fully potty trained, do not like children, have a bite history, etc. I also want to know what their favorite activities are! We're pretty active but will definitely scale back if your pup is more of a couch potato and would prefer snuggles on the couch instead of a 6 mile hike! We adore Golden Retrievers!
A typical day
We will walk around the beautiful neighborhood of Washington Virginia Vale and explore local Garland and Cook Parks. I adore James A. Bible Park and look forward to taking your pup on walks there, too! Elk Meadow Park has a beautiful dog park that I like to take pups to if their paw-rents are okay with it! My friends live down the street and they have an amazing fenced in backyard with two dogs, a 10 yr old German Shepard and a 4 month old St. Pyrenees, who love to play with dogs that we sit for! We also enjoy going to breweries with dog-friendly outdoor seating on nice days. We also love taking dogs on hikes if they are up for it!
