Pet care experience
I have been caring for animals since I was 6 years old - from dogs to frogs to fish to hamsters.. and even a bearded dragon and a potbellied pig! Dogs, however, are my all-time favorite creatures! I raised my two pups, Maddy (12) and Jack (5), from 8 weeks old and they're the best friends I could ask for. Maddy passed away recently, but she’s still my heart dog ❤️ I have cared for young puppies, elderly dogs, pups with medical needs, and almost every type of dog in between!

Sarah is so good with my K9 best friend, she treats him perfectly and I have no concerns about his well being when with her.
Sarah is awesome! I can tell my K9 loves being with her. I hand her the leash and he trots on in. Glad he is well taken care of!
My buddy Zeus was well taken care of by Sarah. She sent some really great pics and I could see he was content and smiling.
Sarah did a fantastic job hosting our pup! It was her first time away from home and she had a blast. Communication was top notch and we got plenty of pictures each day. We would love to work with Sarah again!

I live on the first floor of an apartment building - so no stairs for those pups who have mobility issues. We have interior hallways, so there is a very low risk of any escapes! I have gates if any dog needs quiet time and 2 sizes of crates.

Information Sarah A. would like to know about your pet
It is important to me to know your dog's temperament with other dogs, strangers while on a leash, and kids (for those that may be walking outside or nearby - should we avoid them?). Additionally, I would like to know if your dog has certain boundaries they need respected: particular spots they don't like being pet, do they need quiet time after playing, should they eat in a seperate area, etc. Your dog's comfort (and yours!) is my top priority.
A typical day
My complex has plenty of sidewalks and paths for some quick walks, but I also love to get my dogs to areas where they can really sniff and explore (both on and off leash if possible). If your dog needs to remain on-lead or in a fenced area, we have a large dog park in the complex!

I work remotely and have a very open schedule! I have a lot of flexibility to tend to your pup(s) in the intervals that make the most sense for you and them.
