I absolutely love dogs!
Pet care experience
I no longer live with my parents, but my parents have 4 dogs that I have loved and help care for even since I've moved out of their house a year ago. My parents have a dauschand, schnauzer, beagle, and German Shepard so I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and unique attitudes. I have also done internships with veterinarians helping out with dogs specifically in the clinics. This has given me experience on medicating dogs, and helping to calm scared, stressed, or sick animals. I've had dogs my entire life and couldn't imagine life without these sweet animals. I truly can't imagine a better way to make money than getting to care for these dogs and help out great dog owners as well. What a dream job!

Our lab was very healthy, well cared for, calmer when we retrieved him from Sarah's place. She had bonded with him. Liked that she kept us informed on how he was doing while we were away.
Sarah was fantastic- I will definitely book with her again. Sarah kept me posted with photos and comments about how my dog was doing. Her yard is perfect for dogs- fenced with a lot of grass and shade. I could tell my dog had a great time and was loved!

I have a lot of experience dog sitting for family friends and I think it's important to know about the dogs health and allergies, as well as weather or not they get along with other types of dogs. I like to know about medications they may need, and general rules the owners have. If someone doesn't allow their dog on furniture, or doesn't allow them to have table scraps, doesn't want them to pull on the leash when walking, etc. I like to know these things so I'm sure to follow the owners rules as well to prevent giving the dog habits that the owner may not like.
A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks in parks, or taking them to a dog park if near by. I like to play fetch with dogs as well as just brush, pet, and love on them.
