Huge yard, walks, love!

Pet care experience

PROVIDING 5 STAR CARE! My name is Sarah and I have my own 2 well-trained (by me) lovable huskies. My dogs are a part of the family, getting time inside and outside and lots of quality time together. I have spent the last 10 years training and loving my own, now adult dogs, as well as caring for pets of friends and family with the same dedication. Our dogs: Steve (9, F) and Tahoe (10, M) are adult Siberian huskies with lots of personality, both fixed. They are social, happy dogs, and do very well with other dogs. They get fed twice daily and get regular walks or dog park visits as I work from home, and let me know when they are bored with some husky woos!

Sarah did a great job with Maggie. It was her first time staying at someone else’s home and she was nervous and barking at first. Sarah was very patient and understanding and I appreciate the time she took to introduce the dogs and make sure the our dog would get along with her two. She sent video and pictures, took Maggie on walks with her dogs and provided updates on how she was doing. She also has a nice size yard for the dogs to play in. Will definitely come back.

Couldn't be happier with the care provided. Excellent communication, and so many pictures throughout the day kept us pleasantly updated. 12/10 would instantly book again when in the area. Thanks Sarah for the lovely day!

Information Sarah A. would like to know about your pet

What is your dogs typical temperament when sharing space with other dogs? Do they have any resource guarding behaviors? (Not a deal-breaker, but need to be aware!) What is their typical day like? Do they have any bad habits I should look out for? Like swallowing non-food items, counter sniffing and grazing, can’t be trusted around food at eye level, drinks from toilet, digging holes, etc.

A typical day

Daily walks can vary in length, from just a short spin around a couple block, increasing up to 2 miles through a green park path through some open space near our home. I allow dogs to sniff because that is important mental stimulation for dogs! We can also take occasional dog park visits, weather permitting.

I work from home so I am home every weekday, taking walk breaks midday and allowing the dogs in and out of my large fenced backyard for play or potty breaks, or trips to the park after work. My husband works outside the home but is a loving dog dad who would also be wonderful to your fur-baby when he is home. On weekends, dogs still get quality time and exercise, sometimes in the form of hiking!
