I am currently in the pre-vet program at ACC and will be transferring to Texas A&M next fall to complete my education in veterinary medicine. I have been a volunteer at Austin Pets Alive for six years and have been mentored by several veterinarians. There is nothing more special than the bond between an animal and their person, and I understand how taxing separation anxiety can be on your pup. I am in the B.O.O. program at Austin Pets Alive, which has trained me to work with highly stressed and anxious dogs. I have learned a few calming tricks over the years. One of my favorite things to do is going to Zilker park so my dog(and I) can meet other dogs! I love to take my dog hiking and going to the creeks or just walking down to the lake in my neighborhood. Growing up, my family always had animals in the house, so they have always played a very important roll in my life. I am truly passionate about taking care of animals and believe that they deserve to be treated with just as much love and compassion as they give us, if not more!
