Pet care experience
I have been a sitter with Rover for about a year now, but I've grown up around small dogs since I was 4, and I have my own 3 year old pup at home. I am a very responsible dog owner and I have a lot of love to give! My pup and I are currently working through obedience training and separation anxiety, and I know how hard it can be to find affordable pet care when you can't leave your dog home alone. I work from home 3 days a week and would love to help take care of your dog. I'm sure my dog would welcome the company! I am most comfortable sitting small to medium dogs. They must be non-aggressive and well behaved / house trained as I do not want my own dog to be placed in harms way through this experience. My dog is very friendly and sweet but she can be timid at times, especially with over-excited dogs.

Sarah was amazing! This was my first time using Rover and she and her dog Juniper made it such an enjoyable experience for my dog and I. Communication was great, Sarah was patient with last minute changes on my end, and the day of she was attentive and caring for my dog. He was well cared for and came home happy and tired. Will definitely book with Sarah again!

I am happy to accommodate any special instructions from you as required and I encourage meet and greets before providing service when possible. My dog is playful but also enjoys her quiet time. I have a puppy fence and an extra crate (small) at my disposal if required. I also have separate rooms in my apartment should our dogs need their space from each other while I am dog-sitting. On walks your dog will be leashed the entire time and walking alongside my own dog. I will not take your dog to an off leash area / dog park.

A typical day
Your dog will have a lot of fun playing with my pup during the day and going for walks through my neighbourhood. I have plently of toys, treat puzzles, cuddles, and napping spots to offer and your dog will be in good company.

Availability
On days that I work from home, I will be around the whole day to supervise our pups whether they choose to play around together or take a nap. I am able to take the dogs for a short walk around the neighbourbood in the mornings and on my lunch break, and can do longer walks after work. On weekends I am more able to dedicate time to playing and exercising our dogs. I do not charge high sitting fees but my time is valuable so I ask that you please respect the booking times we have agreed upon unless something urgent has come up. Please communicate any schedule changes to me asap so I can plan accordingly :)
