Pet care experience
I've taken care of puppies, kittens, dogs, and cats of all types for my whole life. I frequently took neighbors' dogs on walks, and took care of a senior dog twice a week through the last year of his life. I am gentle but I always adapt to the family, and can continue using commands and training you may be working on at home.

Sarah loves animals large and small and grew up with family pets. She has always been great about considering the needs of both our cat and dog both from a health and safety perspective and their need to be cared for and loved on. I have no hesitation recommending her to care for a pet.
Sarah cares about animals. She has since she was little. When we got a dog, she took immediate ownership. Sarah made sure our dog had fresh water, food twice/day, and plenty of play time. Play time length and type depended upon what our dog wanted. Sometimes Sarah took her on multiple walks. Sometimes Sarah sat and played with her toys. I share that, but I also want to point out - when Sarah played with the dog, Sarah would be on the floor or ground with the dog. Always being mindful to not wear out the dog to the point of exhaustion, keeping her hydrated, etc. You will find Sarah leads with care.

I cannot care for pets in my own home due to my lease, but I am happy to care for your pet in your home the same way you do. I am willing to work on commands with your pet that you may use at home, and I know you love your pets. I will too! I am very easygoing and easily get along with even the shyest or more aggressive fur babies out there. Whatever your lovable pet needs, I am happy to help where I can. I enjoy helping others, and I love pets of all ages and types!

Let me know if there are any special things I need to know about your dog. I am happy to work with seniors, special needs dogs, and puppies in addition to your average pooch, but I know every dog has their own personality. Whatever your dog likes to play with, how often they need treats, if they are potty-trained, and if there are any special commands you are working on with them is always helpful to know so I can continue to bring them the joy they receive in their everyday life.
A typical day
I love to be of service to your pets both mentally and physically. I love playing games, and I can be down on their level if that helps them play better. I know of several safe parks, and several trails that will keep your dog safe and happy. I will make sure they are properly hydrated if we go on walks, and I always have filtered water and a silicone dog-safe bowl with me so they have clean and safe water for your precious dog.

Availability
I am currently a part time student, so my working hours are weird. Please message me if you would prefer mornings or a specific afternoon time and I would be happy to accommodate. I will do whatever I can to make it work! I am available at least 4 days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, but Friday mornings may also work if that is needed. I sometimes have weekends available, but usually for Saturday and Sunday I can only provide morning walks. The best times for me are mornings Mondays and Tuesdays, and any time before 11am Wednesdays. Monday and Tuesday are free until 1pm, and then Wednesday and Thursday I am available for more services and longer bookings. Fridays and weekends, just message me and I am sure we can work something out. If I can help, I will! If you send me a message I am happy to work with you to ensure your pet gets the care needed to the best of my ability. For overnight care, I can provide overnight care Thursday nights, but unfortunately that is really my only guaranteed day. However, if you let me know ahead of time I can make more space in my studies for a different day. In total, I have broken down my times for services below: DOG WALKING: Monday and Tuesdays mornings until 1pm, Wednesdays before 11am and between 12:30pm-3:30pm in the afternoons, Thursdays all day*, Friday and weekend mornings anytime before 12 noon! HOUSE SITTING: overnights, although the notice period is high so I know what dog walking bookings and drop-ins I can accept during that week. Best time for overnights is Thursday into Friday for me, but message me if you need a different day and I may be able to shift some things around. DROP-INS: Monday anytime before 1pm, Tuesday anytime before 1pm, Wednesday 12:30pm-3:30pm, Thursdays anytime*, and Fridays and weekend days anytime before 12 noon! A Quick Note: *-I do have another part time job, and I may have spots already filled for bookings, so please just message me and check. I will be happy to work with you to get your pet taken care of, and I am flexible on times so long as I have some notice time to shuffle things around and make sure I am being responsible with my time.
