Pet care experience
I've been caring for dogs for 15 years and am thrilled to be able to assist more dogs and families with day care. I have experience with dogs of all ages and extensive experience with senior and special needs dogs.

Sarafina cared for our dogs as though they were her own, and that's a very high bar considering how much she loves and cherishes her pups. She is extremely attentive to every dog's individual needs, whether that's related to diet, medication, temperament, and everything else that makes a dog special. She's cared for our dogs for weeks at a time before and I've never had the slightest worry that anything might happen to them while in her care. And of course, as a bonus our pups absolutely love her!
I would recommend Sarafina to anyone who is looking for a reliable and kind person to care for their pets. I absolutely trust her with my dogs as she has watched them many times. I have a peace of mind knowing that they are in good hands.
Sarafina treats animals like the sacred and beautiful beings that they truly are. She’s wonderful with ALL animals but dogs have a very special connection with/to her. My two dogs (a lab & a mini schnauzer) adore her. There’s also no one I trust more with their safety, well-being, and fun, than Sarafina! 10 out of 10 🐾

My quarter acre property is centrally located in the Highland neighborhood. There is a six foot high fence surrounding the entire yard, including the front property line. There are two additional gates throughout the space to ensure dogs are safe and secure. There are four separate fenced in areas for when dogs need separate playtime or breaks. Ample shade, large concrete porch with fans, dog pools, and cozy dog beds make the space comfortable year round. Dogs who spend the day with me will be well loved and taken care of. They'll get to explore all play areas, receive lots of head scratches, and will alway be supervised. It's my top priority to make sure dogs in my care not only have a fun day, but are safe at all times.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs, or unique temperament characteristics I should know about before you arrive. If your dog needs medication or special attention throughout the day please don't hesitate to bring them under my care. I'm used to having senior dogs and understand how Important it is to keep them on a schedule. I request a meet and greet with all dogs at least one day before day care drop off to make sure they get along with my dog, Ripley.
A typical day
Dogs who attend day care with me will have a quarter of an acre to roam and four different areas to explore. They'll have loads of toys to play with, sunny patches of grass to lay in, pools to lounge in, and shade to nap in. Besides the soft grassy areas, the yard is mulched so dogs won't go home muddy. And of course every dog will get lots of love and infinite head scratches throughout the day.

I work remotely from home full time and prefer to work outside on my back porch. I have minimal meetings and can provide supervision and care during the day without issue.
