I am an animal lover! I have had three dogs of my own and hope for many more. Throughout the years, I have dog-sat for family, friends, and professors, and have been referred to many others through these connections as well. I have also volunteered at the humane society as a dog walker and have experience using gentle leaders and easy walk harnesses. I have a lot of experience with different ages, sizes and breeds of dogs. I love going on long walks and playing with active dogs, but I am also very comfortable just calmly relaxing on the couch together. I am comfortable administering medications and helping with training as well. We have hard wood floors through the main level of our house and carpeting in the basement. We have several comfy couches and chairs the dogs are allowed on, as well as dog beds in most of our common areas. Our front and back yard are decent sized with plenty of room to play. The back yard is mostly fenced in, and we have several long tie outs for the dogs who need that extra level of security. There is a nice park within walking distance as well. I currently have a 55 lb shepherd/terrier mix named Odie. He is very friendly with other dogs, plays well with dogs that like to play and chills well with dogs that like to chill.
