Hi, my name is Sara. I decided to become a Rover sitter out of pure frustration of trying to board my own dog. After visiting and trying a few places, I just wasn’t confident in the qualiy of care he was getting. I want to help other pet owners by offering a safe, fun, clean, place with personalized care and individual attention for their pups. I converted our two car garage attached to our house as the designated doggy area. It is set up specifically for dog care and boarding. It has room to play with cozy dog beds, crates, toys and direct access to a fenced in yard. I am home full time but if something takes me away from the house, it is typically on for a couple hours. During that time dogs are in the designated housing area where I have camera set up so I can monitor them even when I am away! Your dog will have lots of play, exercise, love and attention. If your dog is more the relaxed type I have lots of places through out the house to relax for a good nap. My home and dog related supplies (toys, crates, beds, blankets, dishes) are kept very clean, so your dog will have a happy, healthy, spoiled time while in my care!

Although Tanqueray is not overly active she does have other issues which Sara did a really good job handling. Tanqueray has a growth behind her ear and dry eye issues which needed medication. Sara did a really good job dealing with both and we really appreciated the care Sara provided.

If your dog as any special needs or fears I would like to know so I can make them as comfortable as possible. My dog had separation anxiety and having the right care provider made all the difference in the world, so I know now it feels to know that your dog is well cared for and comfortable. If your dog would like to bring their favorite toy/blanket/bed to feel more comfortable that is fine as well!
A typical day
My fenced in yard provides opportunity for your dog to run and play. On cold, rainy or really hot days my garage is temperature controlled and set up specifically for the dogs with room to roam and play.

Pet care is my primary job. I am also a personal trainer but it is very part time, and only takes me away from the house a few hours a week at most. My husband also works from home and steps in to help with the dogs if needed.
