As a lifetime dog lover, I’ve come to know just how important a pup is to our lives. They’re always there for us, and they are so full of love, no matter what! Getting to share their selfless natures has always been so inspiring to me, so being a pet sitter really is a dream come true for me. My goal is simply to put a smile on the face of every dog in the world! I also love that I can give back to my community by providing owners with peace of mind while they’re away. But most of all, I just love meeting new dogs! Currently, I do not have a dog of my own due to restrictions by my landlord, but my experience taking care of pups is not hindered by that fact. I have been pet sitting professionally since June 2009 for many breeds of dogs as well as other animals including cats, ferrets, small rodents, fish, birds, and more. I’ve learned so much in my time as a sitter, I wouldn’t trade it for the world! I simply enjoy being around dogs and other animals and giving them the love, attention, and exercise they need when their owners aren't able to do so. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I am responsive to communications with owners, and I love sending pictures of the pets to their owners to keep them informed. It’s great to let them know their pet is doing well, and it just makes the time apart from them that much easier. For the dogs I will follow their normal routine (taking copious notes when meeting the owners) and provide for their needs, including exercise and attention, throughout the day.

Sara house sat for us so that our two Jack Russell Terriers could remain in our home while we were on vacation. I was initially nervous but Sara put my mind at ease by taking notes and asking lots of questions about my preferences and the dogs' needs. She even came over the night before we left so that the dogs could get better used to her. Sara exceeded all of my expectations. She regularly gave me text updates and photos. The pups and house looked great when we returned home. I will definitely be using her again.
Sara is simply the best. She's not just a great pet sitter but also a great person. My friend needed a pet sitter for her mother's animals after her mom passed away. On short notice, Sara responded quickly and even called to ask about what was needed. She watched 2 German Shepherds and 3 cats with no problem. She also helped get the dogs adopted by spreading the word, and talked to each prospective family about the dogs. She even became friends with the neighbor. She is still helping with the adoption of one of the cats. She also paid attention to very in-depth instructions about mixing probiotics and pumpkin with the food, and many other instructions and took notes. You can trust Sara with any pet!!
I highly recommend Sara for your pet sitting needs. She did an excellent job with my dogs and even visited before the first sitting to get to know them. She is an experienced sitter with excellent communication, easy to work with, respectful and professional!
Sara is a responsible and caring pet sitter. She has taken care of our dog, cat and guinea pig while we were away. She is respectful of our home while caring for our pets!

Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
I work full time, eight hours per day, but your pup and I will be able to spend tons of time together during my off time. In the morning, we would have breakfast and go for a potty walk, just to make sure that we start the day right. After work, we would go for a longer walk and have dinner. If your pup is up for it, we can definitely head to a local park or dog park to meet some new friends! I love watching pups socialize, as it’s always a blast. There are some great places to head to wherever I am, so we’ll make sure to hit them up if your pup does well around other dogs. Then, we would play and later snuggle on the couch before heading to sleep.
