I have grown up with dogs. My family has always had a dog since I was a baby. My family is big into hunting so we had big labs as our family pets. My grandfather always had a big lab as the family pet and this has been passed down the line even to the grandchildren. Almost everyone in my family has a dog. My husband and I adopted our first dog together about 8 years ago. As soon as I locked eyes with him, I knew he was going home with us. Manfred is a 95 lbs lab mix that is loving, devotes and energetic dog. We adopted a cat which was Manfred's best friend. Unfortunately, we lost the cat a few years later. We noticed Manfred was lonely so we thought we should get him a friend. That's how we found and adopted Zoey. She is a 40 lbs mix terrier. She is full of energy, love and cuddles. They are best friends. We adopted both dogs as puppies, so they have grown up with us as a family. They were our first children.
