Hello! I am so happy you have stumbled across my Rover profile. I have had a love and passion for animals since I was little. A little bit about me includes: - I have helped take care of cats for about 20 years now and currently have two. - Assisted in raising a rescue puppy from 8 weeks old, who is now 4 years old and a high energy breed mix. - currently volunteering at an animal shelter to learn more about how to effectively care for multiple different dogs and expose myself to the various personalities that dogs have

We have a small fenced area that we always supervise (even with our own dog) that is attached to a sun porch that provides a shelter from the elements and a nice sun bathing spot on warm days. Although we have 2 indoor cats it’s very easy to separate them from interacting with the dogs. For separation, the dogs will stay in the kitchen and laundry area and the cats stay where the bedrooms are. We live on a large property which makes going for walks easy and intriguing. No need to deal with cars and running into other dogs that may not be friendly! We would stay on our own property for leashed-walks, which is about 50 acres of land.

A typical day
With the fenced area, it provides a safe and secure place to play fetch or allow the dogs to play together (supervised). I have some puzzle toys and different mental games as a mentally stimulated pup is a happy pup!
