Pet care experience
I have been fostering dogs for a little over 8 years now. I foster failed(adopted) my first foster Bill. Since then, I have had over 50 dogs come into my home and get adopted out to amazing forever homes. I am a current Foster through Needy Paws Rescue and occasionally dog sit for some former foster pups of mine. I started dog sitting through Rover in late 2016 and have enjoyed getting to know all of my new pup/human friends! I have experience with puppies(potty-training and chewers), adult dogs, active dogs, as well as feral dogs. You name it, I have probably fostered it. Any spare time I have is dedicated to dogs, whether it's mine or a shelter pup. I love going for long walks and socializing them. My son was 1 1/2 when I started fostering and couldn't be more excited when we have a new pup visit our home. He is now 10, but I also have a 4 year old who is a little more rambunctious, but equally excited. It would be our pleasure to help you with any of your requests for your Fur-baby! I do have children so small toys and things such as socks will be out occasionally. If your dog/puppy makes a habit of swallowing these things quickly my home is not the place for them. I have no problem with things being picked up or occasionally chewed on by your pup, but can not take your pup if they are a constantly picking up and swallowing things whole for their safety.

Let me know if your dog eats or swallows objects off of the ground. Chewing is not an issue, but if they constantly swallow objects whole my house would not be a good fit as I have children whose nerf bullets and socks might make an appearance. Any other medical issues need to be addressed as well. Is your dog a door dasher? Please put a collar with updated tags on your dog.
A typical day
We love going on walks around the neighborhood or playing fetch in our HUGE yard. Dexter is always eager to meet new friends (after a 5 min slow intro) and romp around endlessly with them if they want. He can also be low key if there’s a dog that doesn’t play much.

Availability
I’m currently working from home M T Th and F. I go into the office on W. My fiancé works from home as a real estate agent, so between the two of us your pup will rarely be alone during the day. They will get tons of play time in the backyard and walks around the block.
