Pet care experience
My husband and I both work from home in New City, NY. We’re very easygoing and live with our lovable and playful 2-year-old Terrier Mix, Rambo! He’s 75 pounds and a very, very good boy. I work for myself & my schedule is extremely flexible, so I spend most of my day outside. We live in a very safe and walkable neighborhood with no thru traffic at all. If your dog is high-energy like mine, we’ve got that covered. We take 2-4 long walks/bike rides every day, and we’d be thrilled to include another well-behaved pup in our adventures. We’re animal lovers through and through & I will be sure to make your dog feel loved and safe while in my care. Our home is spacious and child-free, and we all share the furniture here. We live a slow-paced life made better by dogs, so I’m available for dog walking, dog-sitting in my home and dog-boarding in my home as well! PS Rambo is dying to meet you.
Reviews
Sara was absolutely amazing. We did 10 days home boarding while I was away, there was constant communication and tons of pictures. Will highly recommend to anyone that asks.
Sara is truly an animal lover! She cares and loves for her pets as well as others! She is responsible, gentle and kind to all animals and I would highly recommend her for watching and caring for your pet. She would treat them as her own! I have 2 dogs and she helps out from time to time and my pups love her!
Sara is amazing with my 2 year old golden retriever, Jeter! I don’t trust many people with my pup but Sara is hands down the best. She’s reliable, she remembers all my little crazy “dog mom” details and Jeter just loves her! I would absolutely recommend her!
Sara’s been my trusted dog walker for over three years now. I’m kind of upset she’s found out about this site and I have to share her now, so is my dog Pax. But, that being said, she is extremely trustworthy, bright, and my enormous dobermann just loves her. Highly recommend.

We offer doggy day care and dog-boarding services in our home. Our home is very spacious, so your dog has the option of a private room, a private crate, a private pen, or zero privacy if he so chooses! If your dog were to join our family of 3 (one husband + one Rambo) for a day, he’d enjoy the luxuries of a long morning walk, followed by a frisbee session in the backyard. He/She would then indulge in a morning nap with the optional side of hide & go seek or a cushy spot next to Rambo to gaze out the bay window. Rinse and repeat, and that’s very much an accurate snapshot of our day-to-day! If this sounds like something your dog would enjoy, we’d love to have him!

Information Sara S. would like to know about your pet
We have a 75 pound male, neutered, energetic Terrier Mix. He is extremely friendly… suspiciously friendly. He LOVES other dogs and will give yours lots of attention. Please keep that in mind when booking! Wed love to confirm your dog is dog-friendly, as well as housebroken and neutered. Let us know if your little guy is crate trained or if they have any eating unique eating habits or requirements.
A typical day
At our house, we do 2-3 long walks or bike rides per day. Our neighborhood is very safe and we stop to confer with the abundant amount of other pups. We love frisbee, chasing golf balls, running large laps around the house as fast as possible. Inside, we do a lot of heavy chewing on various toys and play endless rounds of hide and seek & bounce fetch. There’s plenty of dog napping (sleeping, not stealing), and a catalogue of fuzzy things to lay on.

Most of my workweek takes place on a single day (Saturdays @ Brooklyn Flea!), so my schedule is very flexible. My husband also works from home, so together we spend a ton of time walking or bike riding with our dog as well as playing in our unfenced yard. A second dog would fit seamlessly into our routine. We’d be most comfortable with a dog that enjoys lots of play and tolerates the enthusiastic affection of a larger dog.
