Pet care experience
I grew up with cats and dogs and I currently still have a cat. I have rescued kittens, cared for pigs, walked dogs, cats, and goats for neighbors and friends's parents. I used to volunteer at my hometown humane society where I would walk dogs, play with all the animals, and clean cages. I don't mind getting messy or working with animals that have lots of energy. I have no experience training animals, but I am good at following instructions when provided.

Sara did an awesome job! We were very concerned because Whiskey is a Great Dane and has not been around many people. Sara was not only NOT intimidated by him but did a great job. House was perfect when we got back, and Whiskey was great. Absolutely will use Sara again and would recommend her to anyone.
Sara stayed with my dogs and cats for 13 days while we were in Europe. My senior cat is diabetic and she felt totally comfortable caring for him. I came home to a clean house, bed stripped, dishwasher on, fresh flowers, dogs walked, pet food bowls full, clean litter box. Will continue to book her and highly recommend her.
Sara was an excellent dog sittter sent lots of pics she was on time and the house was in excellent condition when we returned. We will definitely be using her services in the future.
As always, pets and my home are well taken care of. Sarah sends me little pictures of the fur babies all happy and content. Highly recommend.

I like to provide play time where I get active with the dog or cat with favorite toys, brushings, exploration outside if allowed, and of course basic food and water and treats if okayed by the pet parents!

Any special needs or behaviors and best practices for providing for those needs. Any information about what the pet should not do like taking car rides, being allowed to be near children or other animals, etc. Any routine things they would be expecting from a sitter or walker, or their favorite things. Special foods/diets like if they are not allowed to have treats or only dry food. I would also like to know what their temperament is like - their energy levels, how they feel about new people, how well they respond to calls.
A typical day
I would love to play with them outside or with their favorite toys. Tug of war and fetch are always fun! I have a lovely foresty walking path near my home that would be great for walks, as well as a quiet neighborhood. If allowed to take car rides I would love to take them to Summerset state park just down the road!

Availability
I have a full time job in Urbandale but I have time on weekends and on weeknights to care for animals. I will have time sometimes during the weekdays to check on pets depending on location of the job, except for Thursdays.
