Vet tech cat mom
Pet care experience
My family started raising and training dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind when I was 6 years old. I learned the importance of positive feedback with training and the importance of consistency. I personally have been a cat mom for the past 16+ years and have always been doing small sitting jobs on the side for family and friends. As a vet tech, I am capable of administering at home care such as subcutaneous fluids and administering oral, topical or injectable medications (including insulin).
Reviews
I have used Sara on multiple occasions. From day trips to overnight work trips. Her experience as a veterinary technician is such a unique find in a sitter and I am So thankful to have found her. I have a special needs cat, paralyzed, who requires bladder expressions and changing of her diaper daily - I never had to worry. I can go away with such peace of mind, and that’s priceless. She communicates well, follows up when asked and keeps me updated when I am away. All my creatures, down to my veiled chameleon are in such great hands. Highly highly recommend
I can’t say enough good things about Sara. I have two behavioral issue dogs and Sara is the only person I trust besides my family. She is truly the best. When she watched my two pups while I was getting married, I truly couldn’t have felt more at ease knowing she understood all their needs and was taking good care of them. She is a 10/10!!

Safety, trust & environment
As someone who has had to have sitters in my own home, I understand the respect and trust needed to allow someone into your home.
Information Sara R. would like to know about your pet
I like to get a run down of the normal routine for each pet. While I am a disturbance to their routine, that should be the only change in their day. Keeping to routines helps keep stress levels down, leading to happy fur babies.
A typical day
I like to spend at least 30mins with my drop-ins. Make sure they get some love and play time. For the shy ones, sometimes that just means sitting quietly and letting them come to me.
