Hello! We are a military family of 4. We live on Macdill AFB but can accommodate pups off base, Fam Camp or in TLF. We absolutely love having the privilege to meet and care for your furry loved ones. We hope to earn your trust as your go-to-dog sitter! As a family we have volunteered at the Humane Society for several years. We have experience boarding several different breeds of varying size and ages without issue. June shares her space well and loves to meet new friends to nap with. She is as "chill" as can be with all pups. Learning about the pups we are entrusted to watch and having them become apart of our family is our favorite part of pet sitting. Additionally, we can administer medications and follow special dietary requests. We also enjoy capturing your pups personality and how they interact in their new environment with lots of pictures and video. We are happy, and able, to be flexible with drop off and pick up times as well as any other last minute changes. We have some experience with other animals such as turtles, hamsters and cats should the need arise.

Loved Sara's responsiveness & kept me abreast of how my dog was doing. I also liked that my dog had the opportunity to socialize with other animals & the pics of her & her family cuddling & spending time w/ Mystique & sending pics throughout the day which put me at ease while out of town.
Sara and Phil provided great care to our 2 dogs (one is a senior dog) for a weekend stay. They provided so many photos and videos and it was obvious how comfortable and happy our dogs were. We will definitely book with them again.

Sara did a great job walking my dog in the morning. Her son also helped and, he seems to be very responsible and a reliable little man. This was a last minute request so I’m thankful they responded.

While we do not have a fenced yard, we have a dog park and a giant baseball field right across the street. We also have many places to walk and explore, including along the bay. We take June out at least 4/5 times per day (either walks or to the dog park) and incorporate her into our activities. We can accommodate short or long walks, frequent potty breaks, whatever you and your furry-family- member need. We live on base which is secure. We have met families who live off base at the Macdill AFB visitors Center, or Bayshore gate, and transferred the pups into our car. It has gone without issue. Please note, our home is on stilts so there is a flight of stairs to get from the ground to our home. Because we live on a Military base and have to abide by housing rules, we are unable to accommodate the following dog breeds: Pit Bulls (American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier), Rottweilers, any Wolf hybrid or any mix of the aforementioned breeds. We are a smoke free home and have taken the Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid Training

Information Sara & Phil H. would like to know about your pet
We really just have to confirm your pup is kid and dog friendly. Knowing their potty, sleep, activity schedule, and any other preferences, are helpful. It is also important they are house trained without any significant, unresolved behavioral issues such as chewing or marking. While they are settling in, we roll with their needs during this time, and understand some behaviors may arise, as they learn that this is safe space for them.
A typical day
We are up at 6 and walking around the bay. Mid day and evening breaks are usually at the field or dog park. We also take walks around the neighborhood. We have a field to throw balls and can create stimulation at home with 2 energetic, and dog loving, boys who are ready to engage with your pup by playing and cuddling (supervised).

Availability
I am a social worker who works from home, my kids go to school 5 minutes from our home and my husband, who is a PA, works 10 minutes from our home. I do work out of the home about 1-2 times a week for no more than 2-3 hours. There are also times we leave for activities, so being able to leave your pup home alone for a few hours occasionally is a must. We can create a schedule that supports your pups needs.
