Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Sara! I am senior in college, have 4 years of veterinary tech assistant experience (can provide topical, oral, and injectable medications), experience as animal shelter technician assistant volunteer, and I will be starting veterinary school this fall (yayyy!)! I have had my own doggie ( Blondie- Shih Tzu) for over 10 years now, so I know how know how hard it is to find a walker and sitter that gives our pets as much love as we do, which is why I have decided to join Rover. Also..... I am looking for a way to fund my vet school tuition, while doing so. I mean what better than to get to take care what I am passionate about (taking care of animals), to help complete my goal! With my experience, I am also able to provide pets with medicines and injections as needed! I hope to hear from you and your pet ☺️

Sara has done an amazing job with our Family’s pet in every aspect. She always follows our directions and gives medications to our pet as needed. She is always respectful and treats our pet to the best of her ability. I would highly recommend having her take care of your pet.

I have only one furry baby (Blondie- Shih-Tzu) who is 10 years old. Like most seniors, she is calm, and sleeps most of the day. I live in a single family house with my mother, and we have a small semi-fenced!

Please let me know ahead of time how your pet interacts with another pet if staying over, if they are on tick and flea prevention, if they need medications, AND most important if I can give them treats.
A typical day
I will go on walks with them, can go on car rides (if pet likes it and parents approve!), will play with them as necessary, and provide them with endless love :)

Availability
I am currently a full time student so I am able to only pet sit between Friday- Sunday.HOWEVER, I can do pet check-ins (feedings, medications, injection, etc) and walks mondays- fridays throughout the day :). I do have availability on most holidays! ** Starting April 17th, I will be able to do check-ins and walks Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays between morning and 3pm.
