Pet care experience
Animals have always been a part of my life. Prior to moving to Alaska I grew up on a ranch with a variety of animals, I have worked with a humane society for over 3 years helping to find forever homes for animals in need, and in addition to all of these outside animals dogs and cats have always been in my house. My fondest memories are always with a pet. Leaving my pets is one of the hardest things I have to do. I was always blessed to have a trusted friend come and watch them. So I understand any anxiety you and your pets may have when you have to leave. Once I moved to Alaska I realized how blessed I was to have my friend watch my animals and this made me want to provide the opportunity for others to find a trusted care giver as I am having to search for one too. I love to send updates while you are gone so you know your pets are happy and well. When you request my services your pets will be with a mother and daughter duo who care for animals like they are our own. We both are teachers, so our during the day hours are limited, however, getting to play with a four legged friend is the perfect way to start and end any day. My mother, who currently lives with me, has vast experience with animals as well. It was her ranch we both worked on, she has always had dogs and cats in her house as well, and she is a firm believer in giving each animals the love they deserve. Some of the expertise our unique experiences have provided us with are: -Giving medication -Caring for injured and senior animals -Caring for younger animals (puppies/kittens) -Caring for a variety of animal species -Understanding that customized care is needed -Giving unconditional love to each and every pet

Sara and Monika did a PHENOMENAL job watching our dog. We have a fairly regimented system for her with extremely specific needs and Sara and Monika were able to do everything exactly how we would have. We were able to verify what they did, as we have security cameras throughout the house, and I can honestly attest to the fact that these two women go above and beyond expectation. One such example was the fact that our dog showed some separation anxiety on the first day of our absence. Sara and Monica were extremely patient with her- waiting and accommodating her on her terms even though it extended their schedule. They treated our dog like she was their own and I am sincerely appreciative of that. Beyond that, they ensured that she had a good walk, adequate playtime, and cleaned up after her diligently. I will certainly be contacting them for all my sitting needs, as well as referring to them to anyone who may need a sitter. Thank you, ladies, for making traveling a little less stressful.
Sara is one of the most gifted people with animals I have encountered- she is a total animal lover and has years of experience with dogs (as well as cats and other animals). Her care and attention to all pets is truly impressive. Not only is she responsible and careful, she is also gentle and loving and will care for your pets' needs to the letter. I can think of nobody I would trust more with my dog, and recommend her without reservation. She has some very sweet dogs of her own, and they are living proof of what an excellent dog owner looks like.
Wow! Sara is awesome! She went above and beyond what I expected of her when taking care of my puppy Ollie. She is extremely professional and is always flexible with scheduling, and leaves me assured he's well taken care of and loved on his walks. All in all I am very impressed and will defiantly being using Sara again in the future. Thanks Sara!
Sara has become my go-to dog sitter for Ellie. Not only does she love animals, but she treats Ellie like one of her own when she's there. Ellie gets excited when we pull on Sara's street. Sara is caring, responsible, passionate, dependable, organized and I'd certainly recommend her!!!
