I have had dogs my whole life, I love them. I have a very open schedule excepts in the months of August to October when I am playing volleyball. Also during the summer, I workout in the morning until 10 then I'm free the rest of the day. My family and I normally take our summer vacation the second to last week in July. On other events I go to our lake house for a couple days at a time. When pet-sitting, I will go on runs/walks with the dog, play fetch, potty train, and teach them to sit, stay, etc. I am very active so I will be very active with your dog. I used to pet-sit another families dog for two years and I absolutely loved it.
