Pet care experience
I’m a proud pawrent to Kai, a two year old Golden Retriever / Cocker Spaniel mix. I’ve had dogs my whole life and think they add joy to each and every day! I just moved to town and am currently between jobs so I have a very flexible schedule, and am looking to fill my free time with some four legged friends! Large or small, I don’t discriminate! I’m familiar and comfortable around both elderly dogs and puppies. I have first hand experience administering oral medications, cleaning ears and toes, and bathing dogs. I also have experience with training puppies, and would be happy to help your pup and encourage good behaviors! I believe the key to any dog’s success and their good behavior is consistency, so let’s chat about what cues and commands you use before we begin!

Let me start by saying how absolutely amazing Sara is with pets!! She is a pet lovah through and through. I have known Sara for over 6 years and have ample experience of the way she cares for pets - She is SO loving and SUPER trustworthy. Every time my dog has been around her, I have always felt calm and secure knowing that she is so patient, compassionate and accommodating :) I love how knowledgeable she is about pets and highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter!
Sara is a phenomenal K9 caregiver and has every category covered. Specialized diets, kennel training, leash training and high paw fives. All the important stuff. She always treats my dogs like her own while still taking the time to respect our pups rules.
Sara is one of the most positive and bright people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing! If her smile does not welcome you, her attitude and joyful attitude certainly will! I have personally seen her care for her animals and has even recommended many great trails to take my animals on whenever I have time. Sara is an active and absolute trustworthy person to leave other's beloved pets to be cared for. I know she will take the greatest care of them as if they were her own. I could go on for hours about Sara but it recommends I write a "brief" testimonial about her.
Sara has always been a lover of all animals. Animals are more than companions to her, they are best friends and they are humans. Sara has always treated animals around her with all the care and love she has. My dog Louie picks her over me any chance he can get, because he knows with her that he will always get his way (which is full body snuggles)

I don’t have any breed preferences but I prefer to not work with aggressive dogs, regardless of the breed (not all pitbulls are aggressive and not all golden retrievers are passive!).
A typical day
I love to hike the butte, however our activities will depend on your dogs needs or limitations! My dog rides in my car all the time so it’s no problem to load up for a trip to the park if your dog, like mine, is a social butterfly!
