My name is Sara Nicholson and I'm a young business professional living in Louisville KY. I have been a pet lover ever since my first old English sheepdog when I was one. I am a dog groomer and have graduated from Nash Grooming Academy. I have worked at Petco, animal hospitals, and boarding facilities for many years. I have been certified in dog and cat CPR and first aid. I have been pet sitting for one amazing family for many years. I've also owned dogs, cats, and horses. I have taken care of horses, birds, snakes, dogs, and cats. I know how to give meds, food, and lots of love! I cannot wait to meet your animal family members and love them like my own! I also offer add-ons such as, bath and brush, nail trims, grooming, and house cleaning.

Sara is great. She is great with my pup and I’m sure would be great with anybody else’s as well. She has stopped in to give my pup company during the day is is staying with her while I am out of town. I have complete trust in Sara with my pup and will be asking her to help again in the future. Sara was amazing!! Our dachshund has pretty intense fear aggression towards strangers in our home, so we were pretty anxious knowing we had to leave him for an upcoming trip. We started looking on rover and felt immediately comforted when we reached out to Sara. She was willing to come over for multiple meet and greets leading up to the trip. She respected our instructions on how to move and act in the beginning and Pablo warmed up to her very quickly. She sent multiple videos, pictures, and updates while we were gone and really made us feel comfortable. If we are ever in the area again, we would 100% reach out to Sara to watch Pablo!

I would love to know about eating habits, reactions around other dogs, any medications, behavior issues, and any other special tidbits. I want to be as close to acting like the owner so there are no new bad habits and the dog feels more comfortable.
A typical day
It's SO important to give love, exercise, and mental stimulation. With these 3 things we have some tired pups at the end of the day. I do love going to the dog park if your doggo is good with other dogs. I also do hikes, long walks, car rides, baths, nail trims, and picking out toys and treats at the pet store.
