Pet care experience
The D in my DNA stands for 'Dog' - your ultimate dog lover. Have you ever been in public and noticed someone staring down your dog? That's me, I'm her. I've never met a dog I didn't want to meet. I have had experience with dogs my whole life. Growing up, my family had one dog, and then two, and then one dog, and then two, and when I moved out as an adult, the first thing I noticed in my life was the lack of a dog (a (wo)man's best friend). So I went out and rescued my most perfect senior boy (Jenkins, 10yrs, black lab/chow) whom I have been taking care of by myself for a year now. Our favorite adventures to go on together are checking out new breweries, hiking, running, or going to the dog park! Let me and Jenkins meet and play with your furry friend, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in great hands!
Reviews
You can go ahead and stop your search for the perfect companion for your pups because you just found her! Sara looked after our house and pups while we were out of the country for 11 days and went above and beyond to look after everything! We just came home to two smiling happy pups and a tidy clean smelling house. She sent us tons of photos and videos while we were away that made the pain of leaving our boys so much better. She was so respectful and loving with not only our pups but also our home. We feel like we struck gold in finding her!
Sara is a kind, dog loving caregiver. My dogs have interesting personalities — aka crazy! but Sara gets the job done with ease. She is respectful of your home while accommodating your requests and ensuring the safety of your furbabie(s).
Sara watches my dog three to four days per week and he is always so happy when I get him back! She feeds him, walks him, plays with him, makes sure he is clean and happy when I get him back. Couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter, and I know my boy loves her. The spark of joy he gets when I tell him “you are going to see Sara!” is immense. He can’t wait to see her again. 10/10 would recommend!
Sara was fantastic with our Golden Retriever and two cats. Super friendly, responsive, and professional in all ways. Would definitely hire her again. Easy to communicate with and

I live in a single-story home with a medium sized, unfenced side/back yard where I let my dogs run and play (see pictured). I live with my partner who has a shepherd/retriever mix, named Frank. Frank is a big sweetheart, who’s bark is bigger than his bite. He is the perfect friend if your pup loves to run and play! We do live off a fairly trafficked road, which may require to me to leash your pet during potty breaks if they are a runner. This has not been an issue for the pets I have housed in the past. When I go for local walks with our dogs, I walk them down two gravel roads that fork near the house. The area is quiet and usually does not see much traffic. Coming to your home, I can walk and play with your pet multiple times per day! Additionally, I have a hatchback vehicle I use to transport the doggos. We love to go for rides with the windows down when the weather is nice! Let your pet join us on our next adventure!

Information Sara M. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet eats shoes, can tear up furniture, needs special medications, likes certain snacks etc. Anything that's important to note about your four legged friend, I want to know to ensure the best care possible! **If you are requesting boarding services** I require proof that your pup is up to date on flea and tick prevention medication. My yard is somewhat wooded (see picture) and ticks have been known to be occasionally spotted on my dog (typical for this area). I keep my pets up to date on their flea and tick medication and bath them with tick shampoo when I spot one. I ask you to do the same before I welcome your pet into my home. I appreciate your understanding!
A typical day
My favorite things to do are to sit outside on my back deck and enjoy the sun while I work, with my furry friends outside with me! I can often play fetch, soccer, or take the dogs on a walk around my neighborhood. If your animal likes adventures, I love to hike in the mountains, checkout a new brewery, or head to the dog park!
