Pet care experience
I have been a foster for hundreds of animals, and have a very good affinity with companion animals and their needs. Our home features two cats, one rear-end paralyzed dog, and fairly regular visitors of various species. I work from home, have a back yard, and have a sweet little dog who loves other canine companions. I am a fairly unfussy pet owner, who can handle most situations and doesn't tend toward panic. If you dress your pet in outfits and think he/she is just like a human child, we probably won't be a good fit. If you respect and care for the animal nature of your particular pet, and aim for them to thrive in accordance with their natural makeup, we will get along just fine. :) We provide a loving, safe, caring, and fun experience for our furry friends.

Sara Murphy is simply the best pet-sitter anyone could ask for. She's super-reliable, especially with special-needs pets, and she's always been my #1 choice for pet care. She always sticks around and hangs out with my cat so he doesn't feel super lonely when I'm gone, and I would highly recommend her to anyone, anywhere, looking for a pet-sitter! Sara is truly the best!
Sara is great. She took great care of our lab, Tippy. Sara was really accommodating with Tip's weirdnesss (she is scared of staircases). Sara's dog, and another that she watches during the day, were very friendly and kept it fun for her. We also received a lot of phoyos. I highly recommend Sara as a Rover sitter.
Sara took care of my little beagle for a week, and she was absolutely fantastic. Her house is clean and dog friendly, she was very flexible, and offered to go above and beyond for my dog. Her dog Magic Mike is also very very sweet, and got along so well with my dog (I think they are bffs now). I would highly recommend Sara to anyone!
I am a long time dog/pet owner, and I've never met someone who will care about another's pet as much as Sara. She is one of the few people who I trust to watch my pets while I am out of town and one of the very few people I know who will put an animal's needs far before her own. She is generous, meticulous, and reliable in caring for her own pets, as well as any other animal she encounters. Anyone would be lucky to have Sara take care of, or even encounter, their pet. Bonus: she also knows dog AND cat CPR!

I will not consider any bookings for animals/owners without completed profiles. Any dog I sit must absolutely be copacetic with other dogs, cats, and people. Given that we own a special needs dog ourselves, we don't have a ton of bandwidth for additional challenges. I also need to be sure that the dog is not destructive.
A typical day
We will go on walks, for sure. I already walk our rear-end paralyzed dog, Magic Mike, four times a day. I pretty much let him decide where he wants to go. As long as your dog walks well with others, we'll be fine!
