Pet care experience
I had a golden retriever and lab growing up, but have created opportunities to get my dog fix since then. I worked at a dog rescue for 6 years. Following that I picked up a second job as a dog daycare employee at West LA Dogs. There I managed a pack of up to 45 dogs at once. I've been a dog sitter for a variety of dogs with a variety of mobility and behavioral needs. Most recently, I was a foster for large hospice dogs and puppies with Parvo. But ultimately, I love dogs and am looking for a reason to get out an go for walks and meet new dogs.

Sara watched our two dogs (one of which is a puppy) overnight in our home. She texted us giving updates so we never had to worry. She went above and beyond with everything she did. One of my dogs got a little dirty at the dog park so Sara gave her a bath and washed her harness. She taught our puppy how to sit and properly walk on a leash in one day! Sara folded all our babies clothes that were in the dryer so she could put the used blankets and sheets in the washer. My house was clean and my dogs were happy. I would definitely book Sara again and you should too!

Sara has taken care of my 100 pound cane-corso many of times over the years. I never for a second have any worries or concerns while he is in her care. Sara is so kind, gentle, and dependable- which is why over the years she has become the first person I call when I am going out of town, need someone to stop in and give my puppy some company, pop in for a quick walk during the day, etc. I highly recommend her to all friends and family, she is without a doubt a game changer for all pet owners is need of some help!

A typical day
I am new to the area, but live very close to the hiking trails behind Sherril Brook park, which make for a perfect long walk. Plenty of new sights and smells. I usually feel out what the dog likes. Some dogs prefer to walk whats familiar to them, and I respect that. I'm comfortable in a multiple dog setting and am open to pack walks or runs.
