Med student looking to pet sit!
Pet care experience
Hello! I am a medical student looking to find dog sitting/walking jobs. I haven't used Rover much (besides for my own dog!), but have over 5 years of pet sitting experience. I have watched a variety of dogs, from high energy puppies to reactive big breeds to lazy seniors! I am responsible and reliable, and my priority is to keep your dog safe and comfortable (and hopefully help them burn some energy!). Being a dog mom to a high energy and quirky mixed breed has really helped me understand the importance of exercise and routine for dogs. I also have experience with leash reactivity, fearful dogs, puppies, high energy breeds, and dogs with medical conditions.
Reviews
Sara is an absolute gem! Her love for animals is so pure and I would trust her to take care of any of my fur children in a heartbeat. She has watched my yellow lab numerous times and she is always so happy and eager to help and loved my dog it was her own. She is extremely reliable and always quick to respond. I couldn't recommend Sara more!!

Unfortunately I am currently not able to host pets in my home but I would love to come take care of your pet in your home! I will do my best to help your dog feel comfortable and follow whatever their routine is. I've watched some dogs who need vigorous exercise and play, and also dogs who would prefer to just have some cuddles or human company. I can follow whatever instructions you have for feedings, walks, routines, etc. I always make sure to shut gates and lock doors behind me and to make sure I leave your home tidy and clean. I think communication is a key part of a successful pet sitter and will be sure to send you updates/pictures from our walks/visits. I have used Rover many times for my own dog and understand that it can be difficult to leave your pet with a new person, and I am always happy to do meet and greets or anything that helps you and your pet more comfortable.
Information Sara M. would like to know about your pet
I do not have a breed preference - I love all pets! I would like to know more about your dog before hand, such as how long you typically walk, any quirks or leash aggression (I have experience with shy/timid dogs and leash reactivity), where you typically walk, etc.
A typical day
We can go on walks in the neighborhood, go to the park, or play in the yard. I frequently take my dog to the local dog park or to Cheesman, City Park, Wash Park, etc. during the week and sometimes we'll go to Cherry Creek/Chatfield/Westminister too. If your dog enjoys the company of other dogs, I could bring my dog along too.

Availability
As a dog mom myself, pet care is already a huge part of my daily routine. Starting in February, my schedule is quite open and I'd be happy to help you take care of your pet any time during the day. I can also try my best to accommodate last minute requests.
