Pet care experience
The past few years I have been trusted to house and dog sit for family and close friends. These opportunities are my favourite, I love hanging out with them, going for walks and making sure the pets are happy while their owner is away! Although due to my parents allergies I don’t have pets, I am ealways so excited to pet sit or visit my friends and their pets. I can’t wait for the day I can own my own dog!

Sara was very friendly and punctual. My dog enjoyed her hour long walk very much, she came back happy and tuckered out and promptly laid down for a snooze.

I would highly recommend my sister Sara as a pet caregiver. She loves animals and has such responsible qualities. With our pets, she is always playing with them, cleaning for them, and caring for them. She gives as much attention as she can to them all the time. She methodically plans when the pet should be fed, let outside, or cleaned up. With pets of family and friends, she loves and cares for them like they are her own, always doing what is best for them, playing with them, and interacting with them. Sara loves snuggles, giving pets, playing games, and also knows when the pet needs their own space or to be left alone. I would highly recommend Sara for your pet caregiver needs.

When in a client’s home I use the most care and attention needed to creat a safe and normal environment for the pet. I try to adapt to the dog’s schedule as best as possible so they are more comfortable.

What the pets normal behaviour is like (more shy, energetic, loves company or prefers alone time etc.) In my past experience I have worked with pets that need alone time and are more shy as well as super friendly pets that love to hangout and I can accommodate accordingly. Also their normal exercise amount/routine (length of walk, where they usually go for a walk etc.) so the pet doesn’t feel as out of sorts and we can try to maintain a routine in their comfort zone.
A typical day
I love going for walks with the dogs, playing fetch/with their toys so the pet gets some exercise! I also love to just hangout and make sure the pet is getting lots of love and engagement!

Availability
As a university student my schedule is fairly flexible with only a few classes every other day. I am also seeking a standard 9-5 job for the summer with predictable hours.
