Does your dog need a vacation? At our home, your dog will enjoy a huge fenced-in backyard, his or her own space to relax and eat their food, no children, an active lifestyle, toys galore, and the companionship of a new friend, our dog, Pepper. I've been a pet lover for my entire life, caring for 4 dogs at a time since I was a young kid. I have several years of veterinary experience with animals of all species, shapes, ages, sizes and abilities. I grew up in West Hartford and I am now based in Bloomfield on a lovely quiet street with a dog (Pepper) and a cat (Millie) of my own (alongside my partner, Eddie). With us, pets will experience love, care and affection like you weren't even gone. My dog Pepper can also serve as a liaison, as she loves all dogs and has a friendly and compassionate demeanor. We live an active lifestyle and often bring our own dog on hikes and adventures.

Sara is a great dog-sitter. She is easy going, responsible, and professional. Her dog, Pepper, is so sweet. Our dog was a trouble maker for Sara - he escaped her yard (by his own doing - dug under the fence) and she managed to track him down/chase him - we are so so grateful to her for keeping him safe and getting him back into her house. She kindly texted to see if I was available for a call (we were away on vacation), and professionally explained what had happened.
When I leave my dog in Sara's care, I know she'll get lots of love, pets and cuddles, and some playtime. She is excited to go to "happy camp," and I know I can leave for my trip with no worries. Highly recommend.
No one loves their dog more than I do and I fully trust Sara to give him the very best of care when I travel. Henry gets along and enjoys playing with her dog Pepper and he almost seems sad to leave when I arrive to pick him up! He's allowed full run of the house, and enjoys the fenced yard. Happy to recommend Sara as an excellent pet sitter.
Casper had an amazing time at Sara’s. First time for him and it was flawless! He blended-in very well with the new environment and got along extremely well with Pepper (Sara’s 6 yr old pup). Casper being a young pup, it was such a relief finding someone reliable. Would surely reboard with Sara again 😊
