Pet care experience
I have raised, trained, and fostered dogs for the last 5 years. I trained my rescue-turned-service-dog, Tango, who passed away earlier this year. I like to work with young pups and reactive pups, helping them learn appropriate ways to greet, play, and ask for affection. My favorite dog activities are long hikes and making friends with the bathtub.

We hired Sara to petsit for my MIL’s two dogs while we went on vacation. We could tell right away that she absolutely loves dogs, and they loved her too! Of the two dogs, one is pretty chill and the other is very high anxiety, typically only likes my MIL. She cozied up to Sara and her calm, sweet presence. We had no worries during our vacation knowing the dogs were in great hands. We would definitely hire Sara again for our next family vacay!

I like to know your pup's routine and vocabulary, and what motivates her - treats, play, affection, all of the above. This way, I can really speak her language.

A typical day
I love to get moving right away, stretch our legs while we get used to each other, then head to a park to play. There are 3 parks near my house with shaded walking trails, including one with a fenced in area to meet friends, play games, and chase tennis balls. In your home, when space is limited, I like a bit more mellow play experience with more mental stimulation. This is a great time for learning, especially if we've already gotten some energy out on our walk.

Availability
I'm currently working part-time with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pups. With advance notice, I can spend the whole day on site - especially great for your youngest pups and those who need more frequent care and attention.
