My household has always been filled with animals since I was a young girl. I've been around rabbits, fish, birds, dogs, and cats– you name it, we housed it. Therefore, I've been exposed to taking care of all sorts of cute creatures and find it second nature to get along with them. My last dog, Jazz, was diagnosed with cancer– I took care of him until his final days, taking him for frequent check ups and giving him daily doses of prescribed medication as well as adhering to his new, special diet. Animals are great company and I love to take care of them, which for me not only includes feeding and walking them, but grooming and playing with them. I strive to treat animals as companions, not pets.
