As a pet owner myself, I know how hard it is to relax when you have to leave them behind. It is my goal to make both you and your pet as comfortable and happy as possible while you are away- be it at work or on a trip. I'm an active person who has watched people's dogs for many years. I've had all sizes of dogs in my home ranging from Chihuahuas to giant Boxers. I've watched all ages of dogs, from a 13 week old puppy to a 14 year old senior. I'm comfortable that I can keep your dog stimulated and safe throughout their stay with me. My schedule is currently very flexible and I can take dogs on walks or runs. I do not host cats in my own home, but I have some experience watching kitties and would be happy to check up on these and give them as much attention as you (and they) would like. I am happy to do drop-in visits with 24h notice. I only board dogs in my home because I have my own dog. My yard is not fenced yet so walks will be leashed, but if you'd like I can transport dogs to the dog park should that extra level of physical activity be required. I do have one male dog in my home. He is very social. He has very good manners- even with small dogs. For example, when we were watching the aforementioned senior dog, she wanted nothing to do with him. He obliged after her telling him only once. He can be very playful and will make a good playmate for dogs that like that. Your dog doesn't have to be playful to stay with us though! Just non-aggressive and up-to-date on vaccines. As mentioned, it is my goal to let both of you relax while you're separated. I know it's hard on both parties! Tell me your needs and I will do my best to meet them! I don't have experience with reptiles or fish but I am a very responsible person who understands how delicate these creatures are. I will be happy to do drop-ins if you give me detailed, written instructions.
