Pet care experience
Hi! I am an animal lover with experience in pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking. I have a cat of my own at home (who is cared for while I’m doing sits!), and I am comfortable with all kinds of animals. I am available for walking, visits, and overnight stays, but I cannot currently host pets in my household. My goal is to make sure you feel you are heard, and that your pets and home are safe, comfortable, and taken care of. It is always helpful to know if there is anything of note about your dog's social experiences, including if they have issues with certain areas around your neighborhood, other dogs, other types of animals, and people. I like to be as prepared as possible for these kinds of interactions so I can be equipped to make sure they are comfortable.
A typical day
When caring for cats, I love getting to know their personalities, whether it be through play or giving them their space. I understand that cats can vary greatly and a typical day will involve getting to know them and giving them love on their own terms. I love to take dogs to a park or dog park if the owner is comfortable! When getting to know a dog I will be caring for, I always ask about favorite methods of play, what kind of treats are encouraged or not, and about what kind of language and training they are familiar with. I love to make sure the dogs in my care get plenty of play :)
