Pet care experience
I jump at all opportunities to walk, snuggle, chase, or in any other way play with animals. I grew up with many cats and dogs and miss having them in my home tremendously. My very favorite house-sitting job is for my friends with five cats and two dogs because the more animals around, the better! I'm no stranger to "accidents" and don't mind doing the dirty work with pet care. I absolutely adore taking dogs for walks, being tactfully ignored by cats, and getting to know their unique personalities in kind.

Sarah was great! I had planned to have her check in on my cat while I was away for an extended trip but a friend volunteered last minute to watch him. Sarah was easy to work with in adjusting the scheduling and making sure things at my place were ok while I was away, watering plants, etc. I'm glad to have someone I can trust with my home and pets and will definitely look up Sarah for future needs.

I'm happy to accomodate any special needs, but just ask that we have a Meet-and-Greet so I can get to know any specific quirks with you present so the pup feels safe. Knowing what kinds of training, tricks, and snacks are important to your dog are great to know ahead of time.
A typical day
I'll tire any dog out with a long walk or a hike. I love playing fetch with a frizbee or chuck-it and, if time allows, would happily take your pup for a big adventure to the coast, Gorge, or elsewhere for a great hike. For shorter visits, there is a great park near my house or we can explore your neighborhood.

Availability
I work full time, but with a flexible schedule. I am often in the office 8am-5pm, but can sometimes accommodate mid-day requests. I am more available early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
