We've always had dogs and cats in our family. We have been dedicated dog parents for the last 20 years, and cat parents for 10. Justin and I work from home and are currently parents to 1 dog and 1 cat, and 1 new puppy! In the last 5 years or so, we had inherited 3 elderly dogs from family members. Sadly they have all passed away now, and we miss them dearly. Our brood has scaled down from what it once was, but we have a lot of love to give. Pets are who make up our family and we love them and spoil them like children. We are at home most of the day everyday. Justin currently works hybrid, splitting his work week between home and the office. I work for myself and am home the majority of the time. We are around to take care of our pets nearly 24/7 with the exception of occasional errands and family dinners. We have a 15 lb morkie, and a sweet, easy going (and hefty) cat to keep your pet company. We also recently welcomed a bernedoodle puppy into our brood who is full of energy. Our pets' safety is very important to us so we need to have confirmation that any pets entering our home are fully vaccinated and up to date. We are glad to have a secure fenced backyard surrounded by neighbors with dogs for them to talk to and enjoy sniffing through the fence. Our pets get let outside as often as needed. When it's cool enough we leave the back door open for them to enjoy the backyard at their leisure. Otherwise our pets live and sleep inside and enjoy lots of snuggles.
