I have worked with children and animals since I was old enough to handle the responsibility. I grew up in a typical suburb in St. Louis, Missouri and always helped watch neighbors pets and children and have done it through college, post college, and presently speaking. I currently volunteer at Heart of the Valley animal shelter in Belgrade, MT offering enrichment, walks, and sleepovers to pups that need some extra love. I am extremely reliable and timely. I treat others loved ones as my own. I don’t have any allergies to pet hair or dander. I have regular clients through referrals and am looking to add a few to my roster. I love watching all types of animals! I only watch well socialized, nonreactive pups.

Sara was an absolutely amazing lifesaver. She turned a stressful situation into possibly one of the best days of our dogs life! She was thoughtful, attentive, caring, communicative and took tons of pictures. I can’t recommend her enough!

Sara took care of our Leo for about a week. She was very responsive and sent many pictures of Leo’s adventures. I swear he probably had a better time than I did on my work trip. Will definitely use Sara again. She is awesome!
Sara is the best! She treated our dog with so much love and attention. He was sad to leave! Sara was a life saver and swooped in to care for our dog when our other plans fell through. She accommodated our flight change and communicated throughout the stay with some of the best pics we have of our dog. Thank you, Sara! We’ve already booked another stay.
Sara was awesome! We left our puppy with her over the holidays - it was our first time boarding her so we were nervous but Sara took such good care of her and sent us very frequent updates! She kept our puppy busy and active and she had a great time! Would definitely use her again next time we’re traveling

Schedule
I work for myself and make my own schedule but also work a part time job at the airport. I have a lot of flexibility and love spending time with animals and being outdoors. My dogs are very friendly and love to play. I am very active. If you request house sitting I can’t be there 24/7. I enjoy hiking everyday and hope your dogs can come with me. I understand some folks want their dogs to stay at their home. I just want to share I will still need to be gone parts of the day taking care of my dogs as well as other daily life tasks and my part time job. I prefer boarding at my home overall but can accommodate house sitting.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in downtown Belgrade with my husband. We have a large fenced in yard at .4 acres and a doggie door. We have three wonderful dogs; a mini Aussie, a golden retriever pit lab mix, and a lab pointer mix. I have a separate, personal, insurance plan for pet daycare & boarding, with expanded coverage for client pets. I am happy to share my certificate including all limits for general liability, vet care, human medical coverage, damage to property, and more. I also know how to perform CPR on pets.
Pets
A typical day
I take my dogs on adventures every single day. We enjoy going to the river for swims, dog parks to socialize, and hiking all around the Gallatin Valley (in the mountains and the flats). We take advantage of all the wonderful public land Montana has to offer. We are active in the winter hiking/skinning, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling. And especially enjoy floating on the rivers on our raft in the summer. We have multiple extra doggie life jackets as well as winter coats and booties of all sizes. I want to make sure our furry friends are safe and comfortable.
