I grew up with dogs, and there is, quite possibly, nothing in this world that makes me happier than spending time with dogs! I have some experience training my own dogs(puppies and older dogs), and I know a lot about socialization and helping dogs with fear aggression. I have had mostly herding dogs in my lifetime (Australian Shepherds, a corgi), but I have also lived with a Pitbull, a Puggle, a Golden Retriever, and a Yellow Labrador. I’m also good at teaching dogs to walk on leash without pulling. The only reason I don’t have dogs of my own is because I currently live in an apartment, and I don’t want to keep a dog cooped up in a small space like that. A trainer once told me that “the things that make humans say ‘ooh ahh’ are sights, but the things that make dogs feel that way are smells, so it’s important to let them take in smells when they’re out on walks,” and that’s why I like to let dogs kind of lead the way when I walk them. Dogs deserve that ‘ooh ahh’ feeling just as much as humans do. I understand that your dogs are your family, and I promise to take care of them!
