Pet care experience
Leaving your pet in someone else's care can feel pretty scary at first. As a long time dog mom I know this feeling all too well and it's what fueled my passion to provide pet parents with a professional and trustworthy experience so that you can feel at ease while away. I have several years of experience working with animals, from scaly to furry; big and tiny! Growing up we always had animals in the house- dogs, cats, lizards, snakes, birds, ferrets, rats, you name it! Naturally, I decided I wanted to help animals so I began studying environmental science in college and got experience in the field. Some of my previous jobs includes aquarium worker, wildlife education performer, and farmhand. I have also been on other pet care platforms such as wag for many years, completing over 50 services and gaining many repeating clients. I only use positive reinforcement when working with animals and I make sure to treat every pet with the TLC and attention they need and deserve. I am canine CPR/ First Aid certified and have experience with senior pets.

Sara I. cancelled a booking 2 days before it was scheduled to begin.
Sara, is super awesome. We've gone to her 3 times now. She really makes sure Zeke gets enrichment and he basically sleeps like a Kimg at her house. I'm impressed with her level of care. She's very responsive too. Your dog will have fun with her for sure. Mine comes home super tired.

It's important to me that you are receiving frequent updates on your pet's stay, so I like to send plenty of photos/videos. I am also dog CPR and First aid certified and only use positive reinforcement. Our home is in a safe dog friendly community located just 10 minutes from a 24-hour Emergency Vet and my vehicle is equipped with a dog seat belt. In our home, your pet is part of the family!
Information Sara I. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any behaviors that I can account for - Biting, nipping, growling - Possessiveness (food/toys/people) - To they tinkle when excited or have accidents? - Do they cry or bark (at night, when left alone, etc.) Also, what do you and your dog enjoy doing? Maybe it is something I can incorporate in to their stay.
A typical day
Your dogs needs physical and mental stimulation, so I encourage you to bring any of their favorite toys along for their stay. Some fun activities they will enjoy is playing with toys, tug of war, fetch, going for walks, and playing in the kiddie pool if it's hot out. We are also located near many dog friendly parks such as Heckscher and Sagamore Hill. However, I don't bring them to off leash dog-runs for safety reasons . If your dog doesn't have any dietary restrictions or allergies a run to Starbucks for a pup cup may also be a possibility.

Availability
My schedule is pretty flexible so that your dog is getting their playtime, cuddles, and potty breaks (every 4 hours.) I do most work from home and will be home most hours of the day.
