Pet care experience
I had a dog all through high school at home and also pet sat for family friends' dogs. I previously worked at a new dog daycare in New York doing marketing, so I was able to talk to a lot of dog owners and gain feedback on what they were looking for in dog care. I’ve now been on Rover for many years and have sat for dogs with a variety of needs. I absolutely love dogs and will make sure to take good care of your dog if you trust me with him/her. I work from home so your dog will get plenty of company all day and regular walks around the neighborhood. Excited to get to know your furry best friend!

Sara has watched our dog, Kevin, many times and is always so wonderful to coordinate with! She sends pictures and checks in which gave me peace of mind during my first long weekend away from my pup. I highly recommend and will definitely use her again!
Have to definitely thank Sara for a quick reply after we had a last minute change of plans and needed a sitter asap. She was very nice! Only thing is, we didn't get updated on Abbi but once the very first morning. I had to message her to find out if Abbi was okay and how the visit was going. I know in most matters no news is good news... However, with dog sitting... with a new sitter and us out of town, I wanted to be updated at least once a day, and preferably two or three. Drop off and pick up went smoothly.
Sarah does a great job with our pug, Henry. She keeps you posted on your pooch with pictures and little notes. Henry always comes home in good spirits. We've booked with Sarah twice and we would do it again!

I'd like to know how frequently they need to be walked and also if they like other dogs/people. Our building has a lot of other dog owners, so need to know if I should avoid them. I have no breed preferences, but I would love a dog that loves attention, wants to be held and doesn't mind chilling on the couch together.
A typical day
Walks to the park and around the neighborhood, maybe even meet other dogs at the park if your dog likes socialization. If they are small enough, they won't even need to walk and I can carry them wherever I go! Would love to sit on the couch, watch tv together and cuddle.

I work from home so am very flexible in my schedule and will spend plenty of time with your pup. I can take them out regularly.
