Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for animals as long as I can remember. Whether it be volunteering at shelters walking dogs as a kid, or working at dog daycares in my teens. I’ve cared for horses, dogs, cats, and rabbits, over the years. I have 20+ years with horses either in the saddle or caring for them. I’ve owned reactive dogs, puppies, and senior animals needing medicine. Most of my recent work has been with horses over the last few years but the experience I have with them I take when working with any animal.

Communication is key. I’ll communicate when I get to your property, throughout the visit I’ll update with pictures, and before I leave I’ll communicate again to ensure there isn’t anything else needed before I leave. I take safety with animals seriously, and I prefer to meet your animal outside of the home before the first visit to ensure they can get to know me without feeling territorial, or threaten by my arrival at your home.

I’m flexible when it comes to meeting each dogs needs. If there’s a meal, medicine, specific thing your animals need let me know, I’ll adapt their walks around that over all. All reactive dogs must meet me before the first walk. I am more than comfortable with reactive dogs but for everyone’s safety and the dogs comfort I prefer a slow introduction.
A typical day
Depending on location and how we scheduled the walks I do love hiking dog approved trails. I would not take any dog far from home unless they’re a repeat customer with prior approval.

Availability
I’m a stay at home mom currently, and I homeschool, so my schedule is extremely flexible during the day time. My partner is home in the mornings but works second shift, so I’m most available during the day. Night visits are not off the table depending on the day, and prior conversations of what is needed/expected.
