Pet care experience
I can’t remember a time in my life that I did not have a dog. When I was growing up at home we always had fur babies, and even now that I’ve moved out I have two of my own! I have experience with a variety of dogs from volunteering with an animal rescue in the area, such as blind dogs, deaf dogs, and even a few dogs that took some time to warm up to being around people. I even have experience dog sitting for some of my friends, coworkers, and other people who have reached out to me before I joined Rover.

I’m usually incredibly wary of leaving for extended periods of time due to my mini dachshund’s anxiety issues. When left alone for too long, she scratches up the carpet and the door frame. So I was absolutely ecstatic to meet Sara and see how quickly my pup took to her. From their first meeting, my puppy was in love and ready to play. Her calm and friendly demeanor instantly took to my pup and I knew I was placing my baby in the best possible hands. She was gentle, she was patient, and she was kind. I would absolutely book Sara again and again!

Unfortunately I am unable to care for pets in my own home because one of my dogs does not get along with new dogs. However, I am happy to make as many visits as needed to go and take care of your babies and spend some time with them to make sure they are well cared for!

A typical day
One thing my dogs love to do is play fetch and go on walks, so that is something I would love to incorporate for other dog owners. Another thing is just spending quality time with the pets I’m watching since they will be adjusting to having someone new around and their people being gone.

I currently work full time and have the flexibility to do drop in visits at a time that works best for you to help keep your pets on the same routine that they’re used to! I am also usually free in the evenings so it will be cool enough to do dog walking!
