Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs and cats but dogs are truly what makes me happy! I have owned both small and large rescues including different breeds and puppy to senior age. I have helped with other military families and friends who needed house sitting and dog care, including housekeeping and errands. I currently own two labs, Blue is 3 and Bella is 7. I have trained both and have worked additionally with Blue to run long distances with me.

We had an awesome experience with Sara. She responded to us immediately and we set things up the same day. She sent me photos of our pup throughout the weekend and kept is updated which we really appreciated. Sara and her family were super kind and our pup felt at home immediately. I would definitely recommend her, we will definitely be leaving our Milo with her again next time we go out of town.

I have a large, fully fenced yard and am lucky enough to have the space in my home for crates if needed. We live in a children/school friendly neighborhood with a park within walking distance, surrounded by a lake and sidewalks. If I am to provide care in your home, first and foremost I will always treat your home like my own and keep it clean and tidy/as I found it when I leave. Communication is important to me and I will always let you know when I am on my way, when I’ve arrived, how your pet is doing, the care I provided either through text/written notes, photos if requested and when I depart - because this is what I would want too! If you would like your dog washed at your home, I can absolutely arrange for this and will use the supplies you provide or otherwise noted before arrival. This can include bathing, drying, ear, nail and teeth care. If dropping off for the day/overnight bathing can be arranged here for a discounted rate. Also, if you do have a high energy dog we can discuss training/running as long as your dog knows basic leash skills (please keep in mind this is a building process that can be properly done so long the dog is in good health). ** If you are located on Offutt AFB, I do have access and can provide care on base. **

We’ll play and stay engaged so we don’t get bored, sniff all the smells and explore the neighborhood! If there is a particular activity your dog prefers, please let me know!

Availability
In addition to my own four children, I treat my labs as my children too. They are walked both in the morning and evening, fed twice a day and I make their own homemade treats. Both are up to date with exams and vaccines and both receive regular baths, nail and teeth care. We regularly go to the park to play ball, the lake to swim and if I’m running errands or doing school pick up then my pups are with me too. With the cooler weather approaching, Blue doesn’t run with me as often and once there is salt on the sidewalks both my dogs wear booties to protect their paws.
