Hello! My name is Jasper, I'm certified as a veterinary assistant and I worked in doggy daycare for three years. I worked with large groups of dogs making sure they're having a good time and getting along while the young pups burn off their extra energy and the old-timers relax. I've also been pet-sitting for eight years. I've gotten to know hundreds of dogs and adapting my care plan to their specific needs. I have also dabbled in dog training and can help you continue to foster good habits in your pup while you’re away from home. And if your fur baby has any special medical needs I can administer pills and insulin. I’m also trained to recognize symptoms of common health emergencies (bloat/GDV, cystitis, overheating) before they escalate.

I highly recommend Jasper as a dog sitter. They took great care of my two dogs, Sparky and Bambi, while I was away for a week. Jasper sent me regular updates, photos and videos, and showed how much fun Sparky and Bambi were having with them throughout the week. Jasper also kept my house clean and followed all instructions perfectly. When we returned home the place was pristine.Jasper is friendly, reliable, and trustworthy. On a return visit the dogs were absolutely excited to see them again! My dogs loved Jasper and I will definitely book them again in the future. We scheduled two walks for Jasper and our dogs to get acquainted ahead of time, and each time they had a blast. I really can’t speak highly enough of Jasper.
Jasper was literally the best sitter to work with! This was my first time using rover and booking a pet sitter and I am so grateful and lucky I got the best sitter first try! Jasper was so communicative both while we were booking and during the visits to my cat! I was kept updated with ample videos and photos and they made me feel so reassured about my pet. I’d also like to mention that my building can be difficult to access and Jasper kindly took it in stride. I felt and feel incredibly safe welcoming them into my apartment! TLDR: Have no fear about booking this sitter, they are the best!

Dogs appreciate consistency just like humans so I follow your schedule. We'll wake up at the same time, walk, and eat at the same time with the added benefit that the treat giver doesn't have to head to work because I'm already there. We'll cuddle on the couch, play with their enrichment toys and I'll be there to keep them company.

A typical day
I love playing tug of war, throwing balls around, cuddling and all-around loving on them. As for walks I prioritize finding green areas in the city and mixing up our route so the sniffing spots don't get old. Additionally, I am very competent with tailoring the experience to a range of pups. I work with many dog aggressive pups so I look around every corner to prevent surprise interactions. With my senior kiddos I take it nice and slow and keep an extra keen eye out for signs of limping and overheating in the summer. I've carried a few pups home in emergency cases. A typical day is fully tailored to you but what they all have in common creating another trusted caretaker for your baby. Walks, feeding time, and play are all wonderful bonding activities.
