Playtime at our house is furtastic!

Pet care experience

Dogs and cats are not just our yard art. They are members of our families. I will treat your family member like my own. After 30+ years with my own pets I am happy to share our belly rubs and walks with other fru-friends. I love teaching my own dogs obedience skills in a fun way. I particularly love teaching recall games and providing fun feeding activities. The dogs just love a game of tug as a reward for chasing me down. As long as the game at the end of "chase me" is as fun as the squirrel they abandoned 😜

We were so pleased with how well Sara took care of our two dogs when they boarded with her for 2 nights. She sent pictures and updates throughout their stay. They had so many good socializing experiences. We have used Sara in the past for boarding and day care. Our dogs are always so happy to see that we are at Sara's house! If you want a place where you know your pet will be loved and well taken care of, we highly recommend Sara. She will treat your pet like her own. And she uses methods that stimulate the pets mind and senses.

Sara is a wonderful caring person. She is very good and patience with all animals. Sara takes time to get to know them and their personalities to help them feel comfortable.

Sara and her Pup were Amazing puppie sitters. I had to step out for a few hours and noticed that my pup had been licking her stitches and could not be left unattended. Sara provided her with a large and roomy safe crate and kept a watchful eye on her, while her pup gave my pup the attention she craved. I definitely recomend Sara and her pup to everyone. Five stars.

I have a big fenced yard with fresh water and a dog house, but my dogs never stay out there without me and yours won't either. We will play frisbee and romp in the sprinkler together when the weather allows, wet dogs don't freak us out. We will cuddle and watch Lady and the Tramp when the weather is not nice. Most days we take a 20-45min walk. Sometimes we walk all the way to the park! Bored dogs act out, we aim to prevent boredom and provide rest and relaxation to balance it out. I prefer to crate your pet over night (10pm-6am) to keep everyone safe and cozy. I have an x-large crate so there will be plenty of room for most dogs. If you have a puppy or a senior who needs a nighttime potty break that's perfectly ok, I do too! If you would like a few daytime crate hours to be scheduled to help keep your pets routine, we can accommodate. I will only take 1-2 pets from outside our home at a time so I can be sure to help everyone have a great time. A meet and greet is preferred so we can introduce our packs and make sure we are a good team. We also have cats. Cat ambivalent dogs only please. I am happy to work with young, fully vacinated, puppies who have never met a cat before too. Proof of current vaccines is needed prior to meet and greet to keep all of our pups safe.

If you would prefer we stay home and don't take neighborhood walks or drive to the park let me know when you book your stay. I don't have any breed preferences, just behavior preferences. If your pup passes the meet and greet we are happy to have them come play. I don't do dog parks (too many oblivious humans) so we will meet at a people park. Please disclose all phobias your dog has at our meet and greet. Fireworks? Men? Children? Water? We can work through most but not all and it's best we are honest with each other.

A typical day

Our day starts about 6am with a potty break in back yard and some garden time. Young dogs wake up with soooo much energy we must burn some of that before our day can truly start. Then we come in for human tea and dogs breakfast. I try to serve breakfast in a fun and engaging way. Snuffle mats, ball pits, kongs, new tricks etc. A neighborhood walk follows breakfast. By now it's 9am already and it's puppy chill time while I get some household stuff done. By 12 we are ready to rumble again. Potty break and frisbee with lots of belly rubs and games. If it's a nice day we may go the park. Afternoon chill time then dinner around 7. Evening in the garden with lots of frisbee and fetch. Then it's time to hang with the humans for all the love and affection they can dish out. With 8 of them there is always someone to give pets. Potty and bed about 10. Rinse and repeat the next morning.
